Same Day Digital Photography!
One of the greatest pleasures for the Bride after the Wedding Day is sitting down and writing out hundreds of thank you cards, then licking the stamps, writing out the addresses, finally going to the post office spending more money to mail them. Of course having your new husband sitting right next to you helping sure helps (yea right!!!!)
Everyone hates to send Thank You Cards, but they are a nessecary duty.
Using the latest Digital Photography techniques we here have come up with a new way to make your Wedding tasks easier, and leave a really cool impression on your guests!
The Old Way
The old fasion way of producing Same Day Thank You cards involved ALOT of work for the photographer and no say to the customer. The old way involde the photographer taking 12 shots of the same basic pose - then the photgrapher would have an assistant pick up the film and have it developed. Because of tiume constraints the assistant would choose the best photo - not the bride and groom. Then around 5:30 the assitant would come flying in with the photos still wet and the photos would be inserted just in time. The problems were a) the bride and groom did not choose the exact photo, b) due to time contraints it allowed for little or no errors, c) because professional labs are clised on the weekends the quality was usually substandard.
The New Way
Since most couple already have Thank You Cards in their package all we do is provide them early. Using the lastest prosumer Digital camera the nikon Coolpix 990 we take 5 or 6 photos of the Bride and the Groom or as many as it takes to make them happy (usually the first 2 shots). Then using the LCD display on the Cmaera the Bride and Groom CHOOSE the photography they would like to be used for the thank you card!! Since we are partners with a Digital Lab Marianna picks up the Camera and Brings it to them. It take 30 minutes to develop 200 Thank you Cards so Marianna usually goes for Sushi. She then picks up finished products and delievers them to your hall. The whole process takes about an 1 hour and a half.
