What is wedding photojournalism?
Wedding Photojournalism, also known as documentary wedding photography , is just the opposite of the other style of wedding photography known as traditional/portrait. Wedding photojournalism is a style that documents your wedding day from start to finish, capturing events as they actually happen, as opposed to creating the events. From photographs of the bride and wedding party getting ready for the big day, walking with the bride to the ceremony (and photographing her along the way), to photos all through the ceremony (no flash if preferred), to the bride & groom entering the reception, and all of the events throughout the reception. All of this captured in a discrete and unobtrusive manner that our brides have come to love and respect.
OPTION 1: $1,995. ($999. as a second photographer) By request, we offer this simplified option.
Includes : church, park and pre-reception of photo coverage by Excellence Photography photographer Julia Kogan who will shoot up between 300-500 images. All photographs are shot on professional Nikon Digital cameras. Upon completion the main photographer would select 75-100 images to be presented later in the evening on a Large Screen Video Presentation at the reception. These images would be selected to create a dramatic and emotional storytelling of your day. Couple to recieve Multiple CDs with Low Res. Files
OPTION 2: $2995. ($1799. as a second photographer) Our most popular option, includes up to 8 hours of photo coverage by Excellence Photography Photographers. All photographs are shot on professional Digital cameras. (approximately 500-700 images) coverage includes grooms, bride's, church park and pre-reception. Upon completion the photographer would select 75-100 images to be presented later in the evening on a Large Screen Video Presentation at the reception. These images would be selected to create a dramatic and emotional storytelling of your day. In addition, prior to the Wedding, this option includes preparation of the Video Engagment shoot to be pre-edited for viewing on your wedding day.

Traveling Photographers: Excellence Photography Photographers and are available to travel to any location. Our basic rates usually include travel of up to 50 miles. Travel days may be required for overnight stays and are charged at $300 each plus expenses to cover the cost of transportation, meals and lodging to a wedding located outside of our coverage area. Specially customized plans are available for travel to any destination on the planet.
